GRK multi-purpose screws feature a Torx(R) recessed star drive with 6 points of contact to prevent any stripping when screwdriving. The CEE threaded shank includes 4 threads that slightly enlarge the hole to reduce splitting. The Zip-Tip self-tapping screw tip ensures that no pre-drilling is required, so you can bore fast and with precision. These screws are made of case-hardened steel for a very high tensile, torque and shear strength. Climatek coating ensures superior resistance to corrosion and chemicals, which is ideal for use on treated wood. These screws are suitable for both interior and exterior jobs and are perfect when mounting carrying beams, ledger boards, stair rails, deck posts, playground equipment and more. Sold in boxes of 25, these 3/8" x 20" screws require a black T-30 2" bit.
